Class 3 at Spratton Primary have been studying ‘The Voyage of the Arctic Tern’ by Hugh Montgomery. We thought that creating music would be an exciting way for us to enhance our understanding of a harbour at night time which can be difficult for us land lubbers!
The finished result is a mixture of sounds and descriptive phrases and includes some musical vocabulary.
Have a listen to Class Three’s Boo!
The Barbican at Night by Class Three
Mysterious arpeggios,
Sea drifting calmly,
Water dripping gently,
Church bells chiming in the distance,
Shingle shifting in the tide,
Calm crescendo,
Singing silently,
Nature whispering,
Waves lapping lazily,
Guide ropes jingling in the wind,
Footsteps on cobbles,
Chromatic steps.
